Our stingless bee hives are sustainably grown in the wild – being far away from pesticides, herbicides and human contact allows our industrious creatures to live in harmony with the pristine environment. We dedicate resources to make sure our bees are properly attended to, simply because what is good for you must be good for our bees too.

Stingless Bees are rare and exceptional bee species and they are much smaller in size than regular honey bees. This enable them to collect flower nectar from the deepest parts of the blossom, which also has richer concentrations of the plant nutrients. We have two stingless bee species which are the Trigona Thoracica and Trigona Itama. The taste of stingless bee honey is sourish sweet and contains much lesser glucose and fructose (natural reducing sugar) content as compared to ordinary honey.

Stingless bees are small and similar to the size of flies. It takes our bees around 95,000 individual trips, to and fro the flowers/plants to gather enough nectar for a 900g bottle of pure Stingless Bee Honey. Thus to us, each bottle is deemed a powerful elixir to be treasured.

Stingless Bee Honey (Kelulut Honey)

For stingless bee honey, the beauty lies in the hive’s pods (cerumen) which is made from both beeswax and plant resin (propolis). It is these propolis that gives stingless bee honey its antimicrobial properties. Hence, regardless of the nectar source, the honey would naturally be infused with propolis – ensuring its consistent anti-bacterial properties.

Stingless bee honey is more powerful and has ten times more antioxidants than in regular honey. The honey consists of varieties of minerals, vitamins, and other health benefits. The stingless bee honey is purported to be low in sugar and has a plethora of advantages like it is anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and rich in natural antibiotics. Moreover, it also helps in the smooth running of the repair system in the human body due to the high concentration of propolis in the honey content. Propolis by itself has anti-fungal, anti-viral, and anti-bacterial properties.
